Fence repair

Broken, leaning or storm-damaged fence? We repair it, too

Many fence companies only build new fence. We also repair what you already have: leaning posts, broken rails, sagging wire, dragging gates and storm damage. Sometimes a repair is all it takes, and we will tell you honestly when it is not.

  • Posts, rails, boards and wire
  • Gates that drag, sag or will not latch
  • Storm, impact and fire damage
  • Repair or replace, explained plainly

Painting and staining

Black stain, paint and sealing for new and existing fence

A fence that is finished right looks sharp for years. We paint and stain fences, from black four-board pasture fence to wood privacy fence, and we prepare the wood first so the finish holds.

  • Black stain and paint for board fence
  • Prep, cleaning and sanding first
  • New fence or an older fence refreshed
  • Finish matched to the wood and the job

Our story

Built on the workmanship the Amish are known for

Our owner grew up Amish. He left school after eighth grade, and his father ran a construction crew. Building houses was the expected path. He chose fencing instead, to bring the quality the Amish are known for to fence and gate work.

What makes Amish craftsmanship different

The standards behind every fence

These are the habits the tradition is known for. They are the habits we hold ourselves to.

Layout first

The line is set and checked before a post goes in the ground. A fence only looks straight if it was laid out straight.

Strength you cannot see

Corners, gate posts and bracing carry the load. We put our care into the parts that never show.

No shortcuts

Quality means the same work on the last post as on the first, whether or not anyone is watching.

Name on the work

Amish businesses grow by reputation. We build every fence as if the neighbors will judge it, because they will.

Built to be used

Gates and rails are built for daily use by animals, equipment and weather, not for a photo.

Clean finish

The job is done when the line is true, the gate swings and the site is tidy.
